Fee burn, halving-aware supply behavior, and validator momentum surfaces.

Updated View as Markdown

RP1’s economic modules separate three concerns that are often described too loosely.

Fee burn

The fee-burn module accounts for burned fees and exposes queryable totals and parameters. It is integrated with fee handling, but a client should use the network’s actual fee policy and not infer a fixed burn percentage from the module name.

Halving

The halving module tracks supply-schedule state and exposes genesis time, halving count, last-halving height, and current schedule information to the mint integration. Supply changes are governance and protocol behavior, not a wallet display constant.

Momentum

Momentum scores validators across performance, reliability, governance, stake, and slashing-related signals. Tiers and grace periods can feed reward or fee-tier policy. A score is an observed policy input, not a guarantee of validator quality; users should inspect uptime, commission, voting power, and current chain state directly.
