RP1 Bank

A public overview of the institutional operator surface for full-reserve issued stable settlement.

Updated View as Markdown

RP1 Bank is the institutional application surface around RP1’s full-reserve issued-stable and settlement model. It is designed for treasury, operations, compliance, and institutional counterparties rather than a consumer balance-only experience.

Operator domains

  • Instruments — issued-stable register, reserve posture, headroom, mint/redeem, and pause controls.
  • Counterparties — institutional relationship, KYC state, risk tier, and rail preferences.
  • Rails — wire/SEPA/ACH/on-chain corridor metadata and capacity.
  • Transfers — inbound and outbound movement with process, settle, and evidence states.
  • Command center — exceptions, coverage, open movement, policies, and settlement evidence.

Trust and demo boundary

The product can show on-chain coverage and reserve accounting, but demo data is labeled and is not live attestation. Off-chain funds, KYC, bank rails, sanctions, and accounting remain separate systems. Mint and redeem operations should require confirmation, reason notes, and the configured issuer/policy checks.

Chain invariant

Issued stable supply and configured reserves are joined by the chain’s full-reserve invariant. Issuance can be paused without closing redemption, and arbitrary modules cannot claim the reserved bank/ denom namespace.
